A well fitted coat or jacket can transform an outfit and create a shape.  Think trench coat to belt in a waist or swing coat to skim over a tummy.   A military jacket gives attitude and a classic blazer will go with lots of outfits, smart or casual.  A parka is always a sensible choice in cold winter and still looks fashionable.
